Field Locations

It is recommended that spectators bring their own lawn chairs to the fields, as very few fields have bleacher sitting. Also, some fields require a bit of a walk to get to, so travel light or bring a buggie! Please obey all parking rules and show complete respect for all city, county, and school property. Remember, the law states that there is no smoking on school grounds. Also, there will be no smoking within 20 feet of the playing field or dugouts at all other non-school fields. • Bear River High School - The Varsity Softball field is closest to the school behind the football field. The JV field is closest to Magnolia Rd. at the end of the football field. These are south county fields.
• Cottage Hill Elementary - This field is very close to Magnolia Rd., just past BRHS. Park in the school’s main parking lot and walk through the schools playground.
• Les Eva Field at Memorial Park - On Colfax Ave. (Hwy 174) near downtown Grass Valley
• Magnolia Middle School - Can be accessed by turning off of Magnolia Rd. at BRHS baseball field or by going to the main parking lot for the school. Field #1 is the big field with the dirt infield and Field #2 is the small grass field and backstop.  This school sits behind Cottage Hill School.
• Nevada Union High School - The varsity Softball field is located closest to the new wrestling gym and sits below the school parking area. If the gate is closed, leading to the rear of the school, you will have to walk in to the fields. The JV Softball field is the small field located closest to the college. Port-a-potties are located in the parking lot next to the tennis courts. NUJH is located on Ridge Road near Sierra College Rd. in GV.
• Pleasant Ridge Elementary - 16229 Duggans Rd. between Lime Kiln & Wolf. This is a dirt field with a small backstop behind the school next to the playground. Will be used for practices only.
• Ready Springs Elementary - 10862 Spenceville Rd., Penn Valley. The field is to the right at the end of the driveway going into the school.
• McCourtney Road Education Center - On McCourtney Rd. about 1 mile passed the Nevada County Fairgrounds.
• Park Avenue Education Center - Off of S. Auburn St. at 140 Park Ave. in Grass Valley. Very near Empire Street and S. Auburn. The field is off of the rear parking lot.
• Tobiassen Park (formerly known as Rotary) - Located up the fire lane behind the Nevada County Helling Library near the Rood Center in Nevada City, off Hwy 49 going toward Downieville. Do not park in the fire lane for practices and games. Handicap parking is available at the field and coached may load/unload at the field. People loading/unloading at the field, still must park in the library parking lot and walk back to the field.
• Union Hill Elementary - On Hwy 174 in Cedar Ridge/GV. Field is located in the rear of the school.
